2. I was thirsty. There were nicer beers but I automatically have to drink anything that identifies itself as a “Tall Boy”, quotation marks and all.

3. Dude on the left had books taped to himself. He had some duel with toy guns that were filled with purple liquid. Some of which got on Leah.

4. In the papermaking studio, a wall displayed “Cecile’s Garden”, different types of paper made from different plants. Or was it paper with plant seeds embedded in it?

5. I ran into Jenni and Joe in the studio where people were making prints with rubber stamps. This is Jenni’s new tattoo. Isn’t it pretty?

The people watching at the Ball was awesome — assorted hipsters and hippies, all accessorizing with the hottest fashions:

• beards
• babies
• books
• beers
• ‘bots (there were some young men in white cardboard robot costumes)

I think only Art Chicago/Artropolis had better people watching this year.
