Talking about last night’s episode of “Mad Men”, my brother and I came up with the following for another film version of Lolita:

• Lolita: Kiernan Shipka (Sally Draper)
• Humbert: Jon Hamm (Don Draper)
• Quilty: Jared Harris (Lane Pryce)
• Charlotte: ?

I have a question mark for Mrs. Haze just because there is no shortage of “Mad Men” women who absolutely kill it.

I suppose the obvious/natural choice would be Christina Hendricks, though I wonder if the actress who plays Gail Holloway, Christine Estabrook, wouldn’t be simply marvelous (and a recall to Shelley Winters’ embodiment of the role instead of Melanie Griffith’s).
