Y’all, some things have happened since the last working girl post.

• D and H are no longer at the company.
• I am now a permanent employee, which means I have insurance again (hurray).

N and C came up from STL today. They’re only in Chicago until tomorrow afternoon, so we had to pack in a lot today.

I showed them around the office. I introduced them to folks. We did some work. Then we went to lunch at The Purple Pig WHERE WE ATE ALL THE THINGS.

• Prosciutto Bread Balls
• Pig’s Ear with Crispy Kale, Pickled Cherry Peppers & Fried Egg
• Lardo Crostini
• Octopus with Green Beans, Fingerling Potatoes & Salsa Verde
• Chicken Thigh Kebabs, Fried Smashed Potatoes & Tzatzi
• Scallop Spiedini with Chickpea Aioli

After lunch we had a meeting about work and stuff and it was actually pretty great.

Tomorrow for lunch the entire department is going to see about some food trucks. Expect pictures of many many foods.
