What am I doing New Year's Eve?
I have some ideas and invitations for this year. Yes, I know it’s only August (well, tomorrow brings September), but I need to start this early when the airfare is involved.
Options are as follows:
home (aka Chicago): This will most likely involve New Year’s Eve and/or New Year’s Day hanging with friends, drinking some, eating tons, and playing board games.
home (New York...

From Straight Dope Chicago (I ♥ Cecil Adams1). I think this is pretty sound advice for anyone moving to or just visiting Chicago. Personally, though, I prefer visiting the Baha’i House of Worship with a car.

Okay so Cats have won
Ugh. I’m bitter as hell.
Did you all not see the Paula Abdul video I posted? Dancing cartoon cat! Terrible.
I am a sore shark loser.
johncabrera:
I’m not at all bitter. We fought a good fight. And so did they. Even if there was a tiny bit of cheating going on. At several points throughout the battle, I did notice some sexy vampires floating through the cats stream… I’m just saying.

I wonder
was it something I said?
was it because I liked too many posts?
was it because I re-blog too many cute guys?
was it because I didn’t re-blog enough?
Tumblarity, you are a harsh, harsh thing, and I’d hate you more if I wasn’t obsessed with how you do (or do not) work.

[It’s true. We do all do that. My mother still calls me if she sees someone on TV she even thinks might be part Filipino, just so I can look it up for her.]
